Ecological awareness
As a company, Arclinea is driven by its concerns and commitment to the environment. The company is dedicated to increased use of environmentally friendly materials and practices. This includes:- use of recyclable materials: aluminium, stainless steel, glass, Solid Ray (20 mm homogenous acrylic material);
- low emissions: all constructive parts of Arclinea cabinetry are E1 class for formaldehyde emission (low emission of less than 6.5 mg HCOH/100 g); the company utilises water-based paints and lacquers, resulting in a cleaner manufacturing process and full compliance with local and global environmental legislation;
- reduced wood consumption: Arclinea constructive components feature "Ecological Panels" composed of 100% recycled and regenerated wood and superior to normal wood products (solid, compact, non-deformable and resistant over time). Wood veneers feature sustainably farmed teak and oak;
- "green" manufacturing practices: an energy-regeneration plant turns production-waste wood into fuel.
Professional hoods with a high extraction capacity (up to 1500 m3/h), top hoods, integrated hoods, with remote motor to take the noise outside, extraction canopy shelf, exclusive accessorised sinks, equipment for drawer management, indoor greenhouse to grow plants, infra-red food warmer and dishwarmer to keep plates at 40°C.

Careful design uses and organises available space in the best possible way: handy pantry units with sliding doors, Closet fitted with 180° opening side-hung doors, tall units up to 237 cm high with an integrated stepladder that slides on its own rail, Mini-Appliances-Container and Walk-In-Closet.
Ergonomics. Everything in the right place, every function matching performance
Equipment, worktops and kitchen appliances positioning stems from research to make work easy and improve visibility and movement. Easy-to-hold handles, recessed plinths, correct lighting for the technical zone and tall units, worktops in different heights and depths, high benches, varying height tables and dishwasher fitted into the tall unit.
Materials and finishes.
Careful choices, accurate production processes, unique designs.
Care taken in the choice of materials and on how they are processed. Craftsmanship that shows in the Italia recessed handle and recessed worktops in AISI 304 stainless steel, better known as 18/8 stainless steel.
Carcass finishes: okoumé (waterproof marine multiply panel) or melamine edged with polyurethane glue (water-resistant and heat-resistant up to 150°C) and anti-splinter edge. Variety of materials for worktops: quartz, marble, stainless steel, laminate (made from waterproof chipboard and HPL laminate). Doors fitted with an exclusive anti-slam device.

Quality development starts at the design stage with careful choice of materials and finished products and continues thanks to physical/mechanical tests carried out by the company's laboratory staff and by external certified laboratories.
