THE COLLECTION

The kitchen is the place where food is magically transformed, according to nature and culture. The kitchen is where rituals are invented, desires are expressed and habits created. The Arclinea kitchen is the abacus of elements compatible for designing, creating and easily meeting real, everyday needs. Because the kitchen must be where cooking is a tangible pleasure, a totally customisable area featuring innovative technologies and modern creativity that goes beyond time. Based on these principles, Arclinea has accompanied, interpreted and often anticipated the great changes and evolutions in society. The concept of the Arclinea Collection is expressed through Design, Exclusive Manufacturing Processes and Transversality.

PROJECT

Kitchen design is based on questions affected by simple, concrete factors that are however extraordinarily important because they are amplified by continual repetition, day after day. While organising a kitchen is basically a question of common sense, the best design project is invisible to the eye, yet tangible in its intelligence with every gesture, every time we cook, at whatever level, whether humble or sublime (architect Antonio Citterio).

EXCLUSIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES

The Arclinea product is rendered unique by exclusive production processes, the outcome of skilled artisanship that has never been lost, fuelled by constant research. Tradition and professionalism combine with technology. A visit to the factory makes this clear. Along the various stages, manual activity alternates with automatic processes, like the production of the Lignum et Lapis door or manual application of the Italia recessed handle, an exclusive Arclinea patent.

TRANSVERSALITY

The Arclinea Collection is an abacus of exclusive, differentiating elements, reaching right across different styles yet sharing a common thread: a recognisable, inimitable exemplar. Every new product integrates and enriches the previous one, because it corresponds to new criteria of use and new applications. Spaces, functions, tools and flows are all linked by a common ‘architectural’ matrix, thanks to which every product designed and every translation of the same in homes meets the needs of tangible, creative, shared everyday use.
